Hi, I'm Rhoda ...
Dietitian & Nutrition Coach
I've been a dietitian and nutritionist for over 20 years, and educated thousands of medical specialists and health professionals.
When I turned 40 ... things started to go in the wrong direction for me. I was diagnosed with a thyroid tumour, and needed to have surgery. My story has been featured on Mamamia.
It felt like I'd lost control, and I wanted it back.
Sitting in the doctors office, I made a choice. Not just to get well again, but to get healthier and fitter than I'd ever been ... mentally, emotionally and physically.
Fitness Model (WBFF)
I started back at the gym, and to my surprise, I fell in love with strength training.
I'd shied away from lifting weights before, only because I had the wrong idea about barbells.
And then a friend introduced me to fitness model competitions. The idea of combining my fitness with heels, hair and makeup appealed to my sense of fun ... and more importantly, it challenged me to do something out of my comfort zone.
I hired an expert coach and started my own research on the ultimate nutrition program for women who want to safely and effectively transform their bodies and get in their best shape for life.
It had to meet my high scientific standards, be easy to follow, and fit in with family and social life.
I put my nutrition knowledge to work ... and it all happened:
This was an amazing journey, and I did this in my 40's, after my health problems, after surgery, and as part of my physical and emotional recovery.
As a dietitian, I developed a specialisation in female body transformation and created my own programs to help women, called The Elegant Eating Solution, and the Strong Woman Project.
